Valley
Trauma Center offers free counseling services to survivors of
sexual assault and their significant others. Counseling is
provided by Master's level students and interns who are overseen
by licensed clinical supervisors. The counselors are skilled,
compassionate women and men who can meet with you and your loved
ones, who may also be struggling with their own feelings. We offer
eight free sessions, with additional sessions considered on a
case-by-case basis and provided for a sliding-scale fee.

Occasionally,
clients are referred elsewhere for counseling services. This is
often because there is a special circumstance, which Valley Trauma
Center counselors are not equipped to address. For example:
Survivors who may have long-term drug abuse problems or complex
mental health issues are referred to other centers for
stabilization, or are sometimes treated in conjunction with help
from other centers.
Valley
Trauma Center is committed to providing services based on a
survivor's needs and wants, with the intention of wellness and
health as the underlying goal
